Stephanie’s teaching philosophy encompasses the WHOLE CHILD: emotional, social and self –help development. Of course academics are important, but it is through nurturing the whole child that creates positive, secure, respectful and successful individuals. She believes that each child is a unique individual who needs a secure, caring and stimulating atmosphere in order to grow. She also feels that it is important to instill good values and habits in children at a young age. Her job as a teacher is to be their guide. Stephanie gives them the materials and the information they need then allows them to learn through experiencing.
In her time away from the classroom she enjoys doing crafts, going to the movies and painting. She also loves spending time with her family, including her two sisters and her 9 year old niece. Family is a very important part of Stephanie’s life and she tries to spend as much time with them as possible.
